Roger Piperno is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, has worked since 1973 in the public mental health services in L'Aquila in Rome and then opening up with Fausto Antonucci, the first Mental Health Centre of Rome, S. Basil. Primary since 1989, has worked to overcome the Psychiatric Hospital in Rome. Responsible, then of outpatient community services, semi-residential and residential development in ASL RME and the Psychiatric Service of Diagnosis and Treatment in ASL RMA, where he opened a public clinic for panic disorder. Teacher Academy of Family Psychotherapy, is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal of Family Therapy. From February 1, 2004 is professor of Dynamics of Family Therapy at the Catholic University of Sacro Cuore in Rome.
